Black Friday 2016 Predictions

Black Friday 2016 Predictions

Based on the predictions for Black Friday 2015, this year could end up being a bigger day to save for consumers than previous years. The biggest prediction is on televisions.

Rumor has it that the majority of electronics are going to fall in price to new levels of low. These will be top brand items, too – not the low-end ones that don’t have the same quality.

You should be able to pick up a big screen television in the 50″ size range for under $400. That’s a savings of over a few thousand dollars. One of the reasons for this is because as new models emerge toward the end of the year, the current model is considered obsolete and stores want to move them off their shelves to make room for the new arrivals.

Good quality tablets, the ones normally selling for just over $200, could sell for less than $100. Here’s a hint, too – one of the brands that you want to watch to get some great savings on is the Samsung Galaxy.

The iPhone 6 has created a buzz among consumers for all of its features, but predictions say that purchasing one of these latest phones will yield some extras for shoppers. This extra can be found in the form of a gift card with over $100 on it.

Look for bundle deals with entertainment consoles. Not only are you going to save a ton of money on the console you’ve been wanting to get, but you’re going to get extras like games which means you save on that end as well.

Items for the kitchen are also going to be big hits this year on Black Friday. Remember that if it’s for the kitchen, it’s expensive and it plugs in, it’s going to be on sale.

Look for countertop appliances like top of the line mixers, blenders, steamers, juicers and slow cookers. For toys predicted to be Black Friday winners this year, look at the popular kids’ movies that dominated 2014.

You’ll find items relating to Frozen, How to Train Your Dragon, the Lego movie and Mutant Ninja Turtles. Because of the movies, look for things like Lego Fusion to be a top seller, the stuffed Ninja Turtle dolls and the hard plastic figurines from How to Train Your Dragon along with the play sets for the figurines.

Topping the predictions with dolls will be the Elsa doll from Frozen but the Journey Dolls, which are similar to the 18 inch Madame Alexander dolls, will also be good sale toys as well.

Electronic learning toys are predicted to be big sellers, but these will not last long. The Leapfrog LeapPad will be at the top of that list. Sometimes you can find bundles of educational games with them, too.
